Terms of Use

Last updated: October, 2025

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Yieldbay website, documentation, and smart contracts. By using any part of the Yieldbay ecosystem, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Use of the Protocol

Yieldbay provides open-source smart contracts and interfaces that allow users to allocate liquidity between decentralized finance (DeFi) protocols on Solana. All interactions occur directly on-chain, and no user funds are ever held by Yieldbay or its team.

You acknowledge that blockchain transactions are irreversible, and that Yieldbay cannot recover or refund tokens once they are sent to a smart contract.

2. Eligibility

By using Yieldbay, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your jurisdiction.

  • You are not located in, or a citizen of, a jurisdiction where access to DeFi protocols is restricted or prohibited by law.

  • You are using Yieldbay solely for lawful purposes.

3. Risks

DeFi interactions involve inherent risks, including:

  • Smart contract vulnerabilities

  • Token volatility

  • Network congestion and transaction delays

  • Potential total loss of funds

Yieldbay provides no guarantees regarding yield, uptime, or financial outcomes. You assume full responsibility for all interactions with the protocol.

4. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

  • Engage in activities that violate applicable laws or regulations

  • Attempt to hack, disrupt, or exploit Yieldbay’s systems or partner protocols

  • Use the protocol for money laundering, fraud, or sanctioned transactions

5. Intellectual Property

The Yieldbay brand, trademarks, and all original content within the website or documentation are owned by their respective contributors. Smart contracts may be licensed under open-source terms as specified in their repositories.

6. Limitation of Liability

Yieldbay and its contributors are not liable for:

  • Loss of digital assets due to smart contract errors

  • Service disruptions, bugs, or exploits

  • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the protocol

7. Modifications

Yieldbay reserves the right to modify or discontinue parts of the service, or to amend these Terms, at any time. Any updates will be published in this documentation.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the principles of international open-source collaboration and, where applicable, the laws of the jurisdiction in which the project entity operates.
